Examination Conditions

All PRINCE2® examinations are delivered online through PeopleCert Online Proctoring, allowing delegates to sit their exams remotely at a time and location that is convenient for them. Before sitting an examination, delegates must download and install ExamShield and complete a hardware compatibility check to ensure their system meets the required technical standards.

Delegates may choose to sit their examinations when they feel adequately prepared. If you wish to take the exam at the earliest opportunity, please ensure it is scheduled no earlier than 17:30 on Day 3 for the Foundation examination and 17:30 on Day 5 for the Practitioner examination, following completion of the relevant training sessions.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for the PRINCE2® Foundation element of this course. However, delegates will benefit from having some experience of working within a project environment or an understanding of basic project management principles.

The course is ideal for Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Support staff, Team Managers, Business Change Managers, and professionals whose roles involve project delivery, governance, or coordination.

While there are no prerequisites for the Foundation certification, the PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification is intended for individuals who are responsible for managing or contributing to projects and who need to apply and tailor PRINCE2® in practice.

Successful achievement of the PRINCE2® Foundation certification (or another PeopleCert-approved project management qualification) is a mandatory prerequisite for sitting the PRINCE2® Practitioner examination.

Delegates are responsible for ensuring they meet the eligibility requirements for the Practitioner examination. If you do not hold an approved prerequisite qualification, you may wish to consider enrolling on the PRINCE2® Foundation course only.
